Rules

1. Assumption of Risk

Roller skating is a physical activity that carries inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, equipment failure, and other injuries. By entering the facility and/or participating in skating activities, all guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with roller skating and related activities.

Parents or legal guardians assume full responsibility for minors in their care.

 

2. Waiver & Release of Liability

By entering the facility or participating in any activity:

  • Guests agree to release and hold harmless the rink owners, management, employees, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from participation.

  • Guests acknowledge that injuries may occur due to their own actions, the actions of other guests, or inherent risks of skating.

  • Parents/guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless the facility for any claims involving minors under their supervision.

Participation constitutes acceptance of these terms unless a separate signed waiver is required by management.

 

3. Supervision of Minors

  • Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

  • Supervising adults must remain inside the facility.

  • The rink does not provide childcare services.

  • The facility is not responsible for unattended minors.

 

4. Code of Conduct

All guests must:

  • Skate in the designated direction.

  • Maintain safe speed and control at all times.

  • Avoid horseplay, racing, tag, or unsafe tricks unless in designated areas.

  • Refrain from pushing, shoving, or intentional contact.

  • Follow all verbal and posted instructions from staff immediately.

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Fighting, bullying, harassment, or intimidation.

  • Profanity or inappropriate language.

  • Reckless skating.

  • Entering restricted or staff-only areas.

  • Possession of weapons or illegal substances.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate removal without refund.

 

5. Equipment & Attire

  • Only traditional roller skates or inline skates approved by management are permitted.

  • Skates must be properly maintained and in safe condition.

  • No street shoes allowed on the skating floor.

  • Protective gear (helmets, wrist guards, knee pads) is strongly recommended.

  • Loose clothing, long drawstrings, and dangling accessories must be secured.

  • Management reserves the right to deny rink access based on unsafe equipment or attire.

 

6. Floor & Facility Rules

  • No food, drinks, gum, or candy on the skating surface.

  • No sitting, kneeling, or climbing on rink barriers.

  • No carrying children or objects while skating.

  • No strollers, skate aids, or training devices unless approved.

  • Guests must exit the rink immediately during announcements or emergencies.

 

7. Health & Medical Acknowledgment

Guests certify that:

  • They are physically capable of participating.

  • They do not have medical conditions that would make skating unsafe.

  • They will not participate while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The facility is not responsible for injuries related to undisclosed medical conditions.

 

8. Personal Property

  • Lockers may be available for storage.

  • The rink is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

  • Guests assume all risk for personal belongings brought onto the premises.

 

9. Right to Refuse Service

Management reserves the right to:

  • Refuse admission.

  • Require guests to leave the premises.

  • Contact law enforcement when necessary.

This may occur for unsafe behavior, rule violations, disorderly conduct, or failure to comply with staff instructions.

 

10. Surveillance & Security

The facility may use video surveillance for safety and security purposes. Entry into the facility constitutes consent to recording.

 

11. Emergency & Injury Procedures

  • In the event of injury, guests must notify staff immediately.

  • Basic first aid may be provided; emergency services will be contacted if necessary.

  • Guests are financially responsible for their own medical care.

Acknowledgment

By entering this facility and/or participating in skating activities, guests acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to comply with all rink rules and liability policies.

Failure to follow these rules may result in removal without refund.
